Why every girl should watch 'Khoobsurat'!

Are you a Bollywood freak? Are you a sucker for romance? Do you get lost in your own dream world imagining your prince, every time someone asks you about your marriage? Do you cry everytime you watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hain or DDLJ? DO YOU BELIEVE IN FAIRY TALES?

If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then keep reading!

Going by the reviews, Khoobsurat is just another rom-com based on opposites attract funda! If not a rom com fan, you can actually give it a miss. If you are not a Sonam fan, AVOID IT!

  • Khoobsurat has Fawad Khan! : The stunning and handsome actor from Pakistan, who made us drool over him! He is oh sooo good looking!

  • Watch it for Sonam's clothes! : Funky, colorful but not OTT! Sonam's style statement is all about 'Mix-n-Match'! Sonam's smile is another reason to watch the movie! Her smile is infectious!

  • You get reminded of you hyper MOM every time Kirron Kher appears : A typical OTT bollywood Mommy, Kirron is such a delight to watch on screen! Her comic timings are perfect! Watch it for many ROFL moments!

  • You get to see a palace with vintage cars and even a vintage helicopter! : A palace with huge lawns, vintage cars and a helicopter! Anyone in Sonam's place would have crazily clicked selfies!

  • It's the first Indian Disney movie! : Most have us are Disney fans! We have grown up watching Disney princesses find their Prince Charming!

Eternal Love....

Oh God! I can talk and talk! I have always wanted to write , but I never realized it would be so difficult! There are so many thoughts in my head telling me what/who my first entry should be about. But its decided. I have made up my mind finally! No ifs and buts. Its going to be him. This is what my last thought was before I fell asleep.

As I stepped into my office building, I could see those eyes staring back at me and trying to say something. I went closer to him but bumped into the glass. Hadn't realized that a glass sheet could come between us. He had  a note in his hand which read "Recycle your e-waste". I mentally decided to donate all my unused electronics to the nearest e-waste collection bin. I spotted people getting into the lift and knew I had no time to spare. I had to rush to stop the lift and squeeze in myself into the already packed elevator. I made it a point not to look at anybody directly in their eyes as I knew the look wouldn't be welcoming. I hate Monday mornings, more than ripe papayas but less than chameli ka tel. 10:46 a.m . I try.I really, sincerely, truly try. But I lose. Time always wins. But again, its just the first day of the week. I can make it up by reaching office by 9. 9! no that's way too early. I cant lie to myself. I finally decided I would be reaching by 9:30, lets make it 10,but no later than 10:30 henceforth.

The first thing I do everyday after turning my laptop on is check Facebook. I know its boring and old now but somehow the notifications make me feel so important. 3 notifications! 3 people like my cover pic. Who cares who. A reminder pops up on my screen for the daily stand-up meetings. Hence my week starts.

I sneaked out in the coffee break dragging Roshni, my gal pal(cum office colleague cum chitchat partner) along with me. I kept staring at him shamelessly while she kept on yapping about her pet cat scratching her house owner's daughter and he asking her to vacate the house. I just remember me shouting 'what!' and 'How could he?'s in between to let her know that she had my attention. After a ten mintues break we went back to our respective seats, me with a heavy heart ofcourse. I wished that he would stay for long and never leave.

But he didn't. I couldn't find him the next time I went there. He was gone and I was sad. I returned back to my desk, logged in and started watching his videos wondering how any girl could resist falling in love with him .His smile, his style, his intense looks, his eyes! I just love everything about him. I wish I was the one brushing my shoulders against him in the video of the song "Kuch Kuch hota hain'. My heart skips a beat every time he says 'Senorita' and I almost kiss my screen when he whispers 'aur paas'. How I wish I was his Kiran.

Once my undying love is conveyed to him, I return back to work still cursing the guy who took away the life-size cutout of my heart throb, my Shah Rukh.
